School Uniform
Uniform standards at Springfield Primary School are inclusive and smart. By maintaining this expectation we ensure that appearance does not advantage or disadvantage any child based on fashion choice, socio-economic wealth or body shape/size.
Permitted School Uniform
- Red round neck jumper or cardigan with school logo
- White Polo Shirt (optional logo)
- Grey/Black trousers, skirt or pinafore dress (red and white gingham dress or shorts may be worn in the summer term)
- Plain white/grey/black socks or tights
- Black leather school shoes - No trainers, boots, crocs, or high heels. This includes black trainers or any shoe the school judges to be a trainer (we withhold the right to make this judgement and advice/descriptions of appropriate school shoes from shoe retailers will not be accepted)
Permitted PE Kit
Autumn/Winter:
- White t-shirt (optional school logo)
- Black shorts
- Trainers or black plimsolls
- Plain black tracksuit for use in colder weather
- Drawstring bag (optional logo)
Please ensure all belongings are clearly named.
All jewellery is expected to be removed for P.E for health and safety purposes, these items remain the student’s responsibility. If your child is unable to remove these independently we kindly ask that you refrain from sending them into school wearing this jewellery. We reserve the right to make exceptions where jewellery is worn for religious reasons.
